Abstract

The proposed work is used to improve quality and decrease the delay, when transmitting the video files over Mobile Ad-hoc Networks. Quality of Service (QoS) support is critical to manet applicationVideo streams over wireless channel require stringent QoS parameters such as realability and improved latencey . It becomes the main challenge to design a network to achieve these QoS objectives. A Cross layer design is used to improve the quality of delay-sensitive video transmitted over MANETS. Cross-layer design has been used in streaming video over the wireless channels to optimize the overall system performance. An Enhanced Quality mechanism can significantly improve the playback quality of the application, while maintaining good performance of the transport protocol.
