Abstract

In this paper an attempt is made to examine the possibility of using recycled concrete aggregate (RCA) as a substitute to natural corase aggregate (NCA). In the second part of the paper concrete specimens were cast by partially replacing cement by silica fume, and NCA was replaced by 30% RCA. 20% replacement of cement by fly ash gave the optimum results.
